I agree. I think it is kind of a "muscle". The more you practice handling discomfort, the easier it will be next time.

Could be also thought as a habbit, or automatic reaction. If you don't get used to bear discomfort, it will be your first reaction to end it. But if you get used to handling it, it will be kind of easy to stay or go further/jump in.
