I'm wondering about its privacy element.... Nice to have a cool device but if it leaks all your data to google and tracks you I really think its a no go for me.

They could have used an is based on a degoogled android, like graphene os.

There's no mention of privacy or digital sovereignty on the website sadly. Custom is may just mean stock android with a few tweaks.
