My best friend still thinks inflation isn't bad.

I told them they were a slave and then we continued with our workout.

They still haven't done their research and can't conceptualize the theft, greed and corruption going on in modern finance.

I had to remind them that most of the world does not have the luxury to even access financial markets and that they suffer the most.

I further emphasised that some people in developed nations dont have the competency or capacity to even access the stock market and try to outpace "theft."

Overall, my friend thinks #Bitcoin is a specutalive asset, very similar to the dot com bubble and that it has no inherent value. I'm not even upset with them, I have a small stash for them as I fear for the worst.

You mean stash in terms of “I am ready for them should they want to trade for NON KYC Bitcoin later down the road” or are you really able and willing to save for somebody outside your inner circle?

Because I generaly think that is a bad idea.

I have a stack for them which I will send to them once Bitcoin is globally accepted and the norm. If I send now they told me they would immediately convert to fiat which would be pointless to send now as I may as well just sent them the cash value.

That’s almost exactly my point. You want to give something so valuable for free to someone who is not gripping the point by far.

Remember that “giving free lunch” is what got us to this state-dependent mentality in the first place.

Obviously I don’t mean “let them starve to death”, but be wary of giving free lunches.

Many dont see it. Send him/her some sats. It will be especially convicting later, after he eventually does see it. They will either squander the sats or learn how to steward what you e given them.

Yes, I did this with someone else and they eventually saw the value and then began accumulating on their own. Fas forward and they are now on Nostr and engaging in the p2p economy!
