Can you do a re-read in your regular voice? 🥸
I decided to read it in a more “bright” way than I usually do because I’ve found that my normal deeper voice is often scary to normies… also, the mastering process (which I outsourced because I am not an audio expert) to make the audio fit into the strict guidelines of Audible stripped out a ton of the bass and depth of my voice… but that’s what’s needed to make it conform to ACX standards apparently… hopefully it’s still an enjoyable listen 🤙
I enjoyed it thoroughly and will listen to it again during December again. My wife couldn’t get past the second chapter because of your sultry voice. Said it was too deep for her liking.
Haha, I’ve heard a few things about the content over the years — but “too sultry to finish” is a new one! Tell your wife I’ll try to dial it back a notch next time… no promises though — the voice does what it wants.
Glad you enjoyed it, truly. December’s a perfect time for a revisit — some things just hit differently with a little time and space.
