Come for the dopamine, stay for the authenticity. Not quite sure lack of retention amongst attention seekers is too much of a cause for concern. They’ll return after learning themselves a little more. We all have our pace

I don’t think it’s fair to call them attention seekers. The other platforms are so dialed in with human psychology. It sure will be a slow grind

Point well taken. There’s so much emotional manipulation am sure many don’t even realise. Excuse unfair characterisation or wording, been a long time since I experienced centralised social media and watching some friends use it, does end up seeming a little addictive on feeling of engagement. Not really the same thing

I get a huge hit when someone follows or comments. I'm like, wow, those people on all that other social media don't even have a chance. No wonder why they stare at their phones
