For about 10 years, I've been saying that hardware wallets are, at best, fancy USB sticks.
At worst, they're an additional attack vector for the owner.

It's not like you have to kyc to buy a hardware wallet just use a burner email and a po box
A "hardware wallet" alone is meaningless. Ledger lied all these years that nothing leaves their "secure chip". but then it turned out that it does.
This device only attracts attention, which in some countries is very, very dangerous. Even in the communist European Union. You can easily find posts on X about how migrants from Muslim countries robbed people after the ETHcc conference in Brussels.
