Does that change what information I'll find?

Confirmation bias is a motherfucker but information no, opinions yes. I can say with 100% uncertainty that there may be some lodge of powerful brethren in some distant corner of the world but my lodge i cant convince 20 men to agree to spend $200 for an AC repair.

Simplex?

Nah. I'm good on nostr for now.

Well ask the questions you have and ill answer what i can.

Just gauging people's opinions of the topic. I don't plan on joining a lodge, bitcoin is enough of a lodge for me. But local politics has brought it to my attention so I wanted to solicit the hive mind of nostr.

Right on. I look forward to seeing the conspiracies in the comments. Idk why it came up in local politics since its an apolitical fraternity but each state in the US has its own grand lodge so rules and whats acceptable may vary

But as the only npud im aware of that has admitted to being a mason im happy to answer any questions you have that i can.

I come from a family of masons.

My grandfathers were both masons and one of them was a property lawyer for them.

My father was a mason.

I know a thing or two.

I have a collection of Masonic books, rings and other things.

Cool, if you dont mind me asking what stopped you from putting a petition in? Or is that a future plan?

Just not my cup of tea while traveling

What's your vibe on the while thing? Good, bad?

I have had nothing but positive experiences with every member I’ve ever met.

I know several master mason and have frens that are shriners

🤝

Grandfather was a high level mason. Just cost him a lot of money to move up levels. Not religious, a community leader, or very smart. Died of alcoholism.

Some lodges have higher dues but nothing to make a man broke. You get out of it what you put in.

Sorry for your loss. Alcoholism deaths are a slow suicide.
