Bitcoin mainstream adoption is growing giving it greater value and liquidity. If you need privacy you need to do a bit of work to hide your tracks.
It's the same for USD. Most people are happy to spend with their credit card. Those who need to use bags of cash, but the mainstream use gives the bags of cash liquidity.
