Money is only a powerful tool if there are people willing to trade real value and production for it.
When you earn money, you are not receiving, you are giving. You give goods, labor, service, or time to others. THAT is the real value. In return, all you ask for is a placeholder for value with the hope others who also produce value will accept in the future.
You can give away your money all you want, but all you’re giving twice. And if people start living through need instead of through worth, and are able to get the placeholder for value from productive people without ever producing value, that’s how you end up in a society of homeless, poor, and destitute people.
