Funny you should ask!

When I was growing up in my hometown of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, at the age of 5 (this would have been in 1989) we got a hamster named Mr. Pickles. My mom wanted to name him Dodger (because it rhymed with her maiden name Rogers) but we drew straws, and Pickles it was. I still remember cruising down Lakeshore Road (the street we lived on) coming home from the pet store in our ‘84 Cadillac DeVille, the same car I learned to drive in.

Waiiiiitaminute…are you trying to pull a fast one on me?

Burgundy, I’d never forget that. What a sweet ride. I had it until the year I met my wife, who was my sweetheart at North High school. Unfortunately, it got totaled a few months later when we were coming back from a concert by my favorite band, Styx.
