My niece and I plotted out our new garden today. after squaring up the perimeter by hand, she got out e were shocked to discover that our sides were exactly E-W oriented, and the ends ran exactly N-S.
There is good energy here.

Follow the property lines most of the time.
The property lines don't follow the directionals. it drifts about 15 ft N of the E-W line on the left side of the pic.

Getting kids hands in the dirt is a wonderful activity. My Dad always had a big garden... one of my favorite childhood memories was going out during raspberry season and doing all you-can-eat for dessert.
we will have a nice berry garden eventually. my niece's daughter wants a berry pancake pavillion. How can I say no to that?
