It is doable, but it is a bitch. Watch video tutorials step by step. Be extra careful and have the right tools. REALLY easy to fuck up on them, break shit, and be up shits creek without a paddle.
If you are scared and not confident. Bring the parts to a trustworthy local computer repair shop. That way if they fuck up, they will replace your hardware, because of liability.

Definitely a must. This isnt one of those crack it open and take a look first situations. The way they have designed these things now a days they have such tight cords and connectors that if you force anything too hard. They will snap and break.
