Vibe coding turns i"dea guys" into people who can execute their vision into reality. Much of PPQ was built with the help of AI!
âWith the help ofâ means capable people used it as a tool. Thatâs what talented people do with technology. Kudos to your team for being capable. In nearly all cases being pushed here on nostr, though, itâs simply enabling and propagating mediocrity.
Yea definitely fair point. Lots of vibe code MVP's coming out recently that barely work. But imagine where AI will be in just a couple of years. I can see a lot of these barely functional MVP's turning into actually amazing products in that time.
I myself and not a native coder. I learned in my late 20s and still don't really consider myself "senior dev" by any stretch. I don't believe PPQ would have ever gotten off the ground if not for AI given the fact that I am not a career programmer. The challenge would have been just too daunting!

Way too dualistic thinking for my taste.
Idea guys donât contribute, donât ship, stand in the way, often lack technical knowledge.
Vibe coders donât do all of that. Just donât call it engineering. Itâs more like playing LEGO.
But before AI, the "ideas guys" were helpless. Now they are armed and dangerous đŹ
Weaponized mediocrity.
