Just don't use it.
Societal norms and relationships dictate that we use these services. We can still do okay by knowing what we are leaking and using this knowledge to stay in control of our online personas.
I refuse to be some hermit unable to communicate with my family and friends.
You make a good point. I still have a regular cell phone too.
