after going through and cleaning the entire fuel system on my small generator, cleaning the jets, float seal and everything, it was still acting like it wasn’t getting enough fuel. i was sitting and just staring at it, and decided to clean the screen that covers the exhaust pipe again. but this time i physically removed it. turns out its not a screen. its a cone that goes all the way into the exhaust manifold, and was almost entirely clogged.

doh 🙄

but hey its running like its brand new now. 🤷

The ascent from two dimensions to three reveals great truths.

Thank you for your struggle this is on the list for mine over the spring I hope I remember this

all’s well that ends well so long as your knuckles have skin intact

Spark Arrestor /muffler. They do clog up, especially is the generator isn't run under significant loads to run hot and clean.

Nice job. Always frustrating. You putting it back in or leaving it out?

thanks. 🙏

i put it back in. for now.

Good sleuthing
