How does "blocking" in Nostr differ from blocking/muting on the fedi? Unfortunately I don't see any mute functionality and I don't want to bother people with possible notifications of "this guy doesn't want to see your posts" which would be fucking annoying 🤔

I blocked a spammer and it showed up as blocked user on the timeline.

Huh, it's a little bit more primitive than what you see on fedi, but I guess it's good enough.

No. It’s a crypto thot

Blocks are just mutes here.

I can still see posts from people that block me and still follow them, which is super based.
