Development on Dero, unfortunately, appears to have stalled. Updates are sporadic and releases in the last 6 months or so have been bugfixes only, without any new features added. Meanwhile #dero suffers from several crucial flails that make it impossible to use in production. One example is the inability to get fee estimate for contracts while running the simulator-making the testing of contracts impossible. (Specifically: gas prices in the simulator are always 0 of course, it’s the simulator! But for testing it must be adjustable!)

This is just one of MANY elementary failures of Dero which wouldn’t be so worrisome if it was at least updated regularly. Yes, Dero has a strong community, but DEVELOPMENT has stalled… 😢😢

Captain has been working on a big patch for a while now and he has opened up to community pull requests, on top of that community devs have been hard at work building services and SCs that have proven to be very usefull. I dont see this stagnation your talking about?
