Is there a piece of writing (an article, essay, book etc) you return to over and over again?

Lmao my birth chart descriptions 🌌:D

What’s a birth chart? Same as star sign?

I’d say more than starsign (sunsign)!

Every planet and other Astro bodies are at a specific point in space when you’re born!

And I think it’s super interesting.

For example, planet mercury is associated with learning and communication. It can be in every of the 12 star signs, in every of the 12 houses, aspecting with other astrobodies!

I have my websites where I am reading this, everytime I feel misunderstood by myself! Idk it makes me happy and I think it’s fascinating :)

Interesting! I'd never heard of a sunsign before. I know my starsign is Sagittarius and I am typically like one of those lol

Cool 🤗♐️

There are 12 signs, for ~every month a sign. Sun takes about a month to wander through a sign!

It’s from our perspective, in what area of space we see the sun!

Same you can do with moon, Mars, Venus,… and so on!

Moon for example, is very fast because it’s wandering around us near! So it means every 2-3 days it changes sign, so the person who is Sagittarius but were born a week later than you, has a different moon sign, in that case, a different feeling for deep emotions! 🤗

What does it say ? 👀

A Book 📖 titled "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. I've read it about 5 times 😁

Yeah that book seems to impact a lot of people. Haven’t read it

Bill Bryson's 'A Short History of Nearly Everything' and Mark Kurlansky's 'Salt: A World History'.

"Ozymandias" by Percy Bysshe Shelley

Calvin, Institutes of the Christian Religion

Milton, Paradise Lost

Milton, Lycidas

Thomas Gray, On the Death of a Favourite Cat...

J. Gresham Machen, Christianity and Liberalism [Modernism]

C. S. Lewis' essays (Necessity of Chivalry; Weight of Glory, etc)

This list could get very long...I'll stop there 😅

I have a had copy of Paradise Lost for 20 years, can’t get past chapter 1. Don’t know why, Christian Mythology would seem right up my alley too.

I highly recommend the Longman Annotated edition. It's pricey, but the notes are incredible. Make it a Sunday read, just 1 chapter/section a week. It's glorious!

You weren’t kidding, almost $100 on Amazon. Appreciate the recommendation and added to my wishlist!

😬

Wow, it was much less when I bought mine back in the mid 90s

Maybe used?

...or borrow it via inter library loan first to see if it's worth the price...

Very good idea!
