Are you tagging this somewhere? I don't know about nostr advocates

I do make words up sometimes.

I’m building a client for ā€œsocial onboardingā€, friends sharing nostr with friends.

https://nostrmeet.me

These are ā€œnostr advocatesā€. They deserve recognition and support. Part of this project will be tools (client and wiki) to support the advocates. Another part is an incentive ZAP awards program for top nostr advocates. Here’s where the query comes in.

ā€œNostr advocateā€ ā‰ˆ

+ first follow of a new account

+ currently follows the new account

+ sender or recipient of first (kind 1 or kind 4) messages with new account.

+ ā€œregularā€ (once a week?) contact (kind 1 or 4 events) with new account each month.

Not sure if you can reliably track the first follower, you basically just update a kind 3 event which might be in correct order or not.

The other things should be queryable with currentl frameworks and some logic. Rust-nostr (with bindings to other langs) might help

That’s what nostr:npub1xdtducdnjerex88gkg2qk2atsdlqsyxqaag4h05jmcpyspqt30wscmntxy says too. I have ideas… and see a number of hurdles also… but my optimism is strong that there WILL be a usable metric for measuring the success of ā€œsocial onboardingā€ and the ā€œnostr advocatesā€ who practice it.

I just need an earnest brainstorm session with someone who knows the space better than me to get a game plan for moving forward.

ā€œFirst followā€ can be assumed accurately for new accounts. Part of the query engine will involve collecting ā€œfirst postsā€ (kind 1 or 4) to find newly created accounts each day. Collecting first posts for ā€œexistingā€ accounts will be more challenging, but we’ll only be going six months back. So the ā€œtracking of user onboardingā€ will get better over time.
