ok so my Simplelogin subscription needs to be renewed

in the last 2 years they've decided to only accept Coinbase?!

so NOT self custody Bitcoin and certainly not Monero.

contacting support just resulted in a generic "you can pay with crypto on CB" email.

is there a better alternative that actually accepts real money? or am I stuck paying SL with a gift card or something?

What a shame

I switched to Addy.io couple years ago they let you pay with Monero directly. I didn't like how Proton and Simplelogin were "consolidating" either...

yeah it made me nervous when they acquired it

but then they didn't seem to touch it at all.

and I use Proton for my business anyway so I thought "oh well"

but now I think I'll switch too

I use Tuta for email and generating aliases. Unlike Proton they actually have a reliable way of paying with crypto and no kyc.
