In amethyst if I search "ngu" your note doesn't come up at all.
If i search "#ngu" it's the only note that comes up.

Looks like the # has no relevance and my understanding on how to use it is at #zero
I wouldn't go that far - being early can feel an awful lot like being wrong.
This whole landscape is constantly changing at the moment.
It's through the play & feedback that the overall experience improves.
