This showcases that companies can rebuild an existing, closed community platform application onto Nostr and gain access to all of Nostr's capabilities and access to the entire existing userbase of Nostr. This move grows Zebedee's area of effect and ecosystem instantaneously.

Their HQ is 30 minutes from where I live but it would mean living in 😱 New Jersey.

When I was researching setting up a paid relay, the only instructions I could find initially involved setting up a KYC account with Zebedee.

Didn’t want to touch that with a 15 foot pole. Kind of shocked that #[3] would be there.

that's because nostr:npub1qqqqqqyz0la2jjl752yv8h7wgs3v098mh9nztd4nr6gynaef6uqqt0n47m via Nostream implemented the ZBD API first. a lot of other options and payment processes and even your own node exist now.
