My mom taught me "music appreciation" at an early age. Learning how to tell different instruments apart, and how to find the beat. It all propelled me in other areas!

She taught me how to program in BASIC on our brand new Apple ][+ when I was in first or second grade. My first original program was a "Choose Your Own Adventure" game, as I loved those types of books.
