Normal people are deeply uncomfortable with conflict.

They seek to avoid it at every opportunity.

Some people though thrive on conflict.

Usually those with adverse childhood experiences.

When you don’t have anyone helping you as a kid you don’t run from anything.

What’re you gonna do? Run home to get yourself?

No.

You simply face whatever comes and develop strategies for dealing with it.

This is the biggest blessing and curse of early childhood trauma.

You become extraordinarily comfortable with conflict.

This is as protective as it is destructive.

You will never be a normal person who avoids conflict, but your goal should be to manage your dependence on conflict.

The weapon you carry inside you is powerful and should rarely be used.

If you’re one of these individuals. Managing this is gonna be hard as fuck. I wish you the best.

Godspeed.

Dude, honestly, this is fucking insightful. Suddenly this part of my personality makes more sense. Always thought I was just angry 💁‍♂️

(Managing it is going much better btw)
