Not unless they can make the Yuan the WRC. The only way to fund a military as powerful as the USA military is through massive global theft.

WRC def helps, but the USD became WRC only after WWII while its military might started from WWI (and it massively out produced any other nation in WWII).
It became a manufacturing powerhouse far before WWI, it was basically the factory of the world (like China is now).
