Do ghosts exist any more than dinosaurs do?
Is existing a scale?
Do somethings exist more than others?
Is there a state of partial existence, or semi-existence , or demi-existence.
What was that thing about the cat in the box again?

Schrodinger's cat thought experiment was not an endorsement of semi-existince
The point is that one interpretation of quantum mechanics makes a cat (in the thought experiment) both alive and dead, but this is absurd, so this interpretation must be wrong
The Copenhagen Interpretation.

The "Copenhagen interpretation"
Coined by Werner Heisenberg for a interpretations of quantum physics that generally conclude that QP is inherently indeterministic.
There are a few versions of it and no clear historical agreement between them.
It is the only interpretation of Schrodinger's Cat that came to the conclusion of a mid or semi-state of existence of the cat inside the box.
(As opposed to a thought experiment that focused specifically on Superpositions)
Schrodinger's Cat
The thought experiment is not about the cat's state of existence at all. The cats condition and the paradox ot represents is due to a quantum physical property called Superposition.
yes they exist. we even train them.
