This is absolutely bonkers to me. Either this is a lie/misconstruction or Australians are rioting in the streets and burning down the homes of politicians, judges and police and it's not being reported.

If I am wrong, please introduce me to a pretty Australian girl (and there are lots of them). I promise to treat them better than that and I'll still get everything I ever dreamed of. :)

It is real. The catch is that it only impacts those with a balance of over $3M AUD so most people cheer it on to tax the rich. They have no concept of inflation and that sooner or later it will impact everyone.

🙄 crazy. Humans' inability to think in the abstract (i.e. "it's not affecting me at the moment, so I don't care) is truly saddening. It's the principle, not the act. As the poem goes, "first they came for the trade unionists, but I was not a member, so I didn't care"..:(
