I'm thinking about going down there on my way to El Salvador. Easy/expensive is it to get from the airport to the island?

Nice! I haven’t made it to El Salvador yet but hoping to go this year. Keep me updated on how it is. When’s ur trip? From the airport, I would recommend getting an uber to puerto Juarez. I just checked the app and it costs $500MXN or $27 USD from the airport to Puerto Juarez. We booked private transportation before hand and it was more expensive and took longer. I saw that it was a good idea on Reddit. I do not recommend doing this.

There will be ferries leaving all day from the port. Book ferry ticket here: https://www.ultramarferry.com/en

There’s an option to book a ticket that is redeemable within 6 months on the selected routes. This is what we didn’t so we had our tickets reserved but weren’t rushed to make a specific ferry time.

From the airport to the island, it’s manageable for any who’s done even minimal travel. Not very difficult at all. I would recommend getting an uber to puerto Juarez. This is the way! Some taxis on the island accept bitcoin. We can help hook you up with one 💪🏻
