Bitcoin is the cathedral, not the bazaar.

I know popular bitcoiners say the opposite, but I think it’s mostly from lack of understanding the historical church.

One example: Without the shared rules and accountability of the Church, the “social protocol” if you will, the bazaar wouldn’t have have the necessary social structure to support the marketplace of goods and ideas.
