Ah. Hmm. Dilemma.I have a ant in my laptop screen who has somehow got between the backlight and the LCD itself.

I know that if I try and encourage it out I will squish it and forever onwards have ant in my screen. But also it's incredibly distracting

You should probably open the laptop and check that there isn't a colony in there. Ants are attracted to the warmth of electronics.

You could try turning the laptop off, unplugging it and putting it near the AC.

If she found her way in there she can find her way out.
