I HAVE TO USE 2 NOSTR CLIENTS, 2 WEB BROWSERS, & 2 SIGNING EXTENSIONS AT THE SAME TIME TO HAVE A WORKABLE EXPERIENCE ON LINUX.

NOSTRUDEL TO MONITOR MY NOTIFICATIONS, BUT IT DOES NOT LOAD CORRECTLY ON MY PREFERRED WEB BROWSER.

CORACLE TO POST MY NOTES & READ THE GLOBAL FEED, BECAUSE IT NEVER SYNCS CORRECTLY WHEN I SIGN IN, OR GIVES ME ALL OF MY NOTIFICATIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

THIS REALLY IS OVER COMPLICATING THINGS.

I HOPE THINGS IMPROVE SOON FOR LINUX USERS TO HAVE A BETTER USER EXPERIENCE. EITHER THAT, OR I AM REALLY MISSING SOMETHING AND FUCKING UP LIKE A CHAMPION.

I'm very intrested in this answer as I'm wiping windows for my last machine. Ive been to run everything but hadn't tried all NOSTR clients out. Thanks love to see an answer and I'm now asking others I know that run linux...

JUST TRIED JUMBLE.SOCIAL. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS NOT LOADING ANY POSTS FOR ME & I DO NOT KNOW WHY.

YAKIHONNE.COM I AM VERY WARY OF. EVER SINCE I SAW A WARNING IN THE AURORA APP STORE THAT IT USES GOOGLE RELATED ANALYTICS TRACKERS ON THEIR ANDROID APP. I MADE A COMMENT ABOUT IT TO THEIR PROFILE AND GOT NO RESPONSE. SO THE POTENTIAL PRIVACY INVASION OVER THERE IS ALARMING.

USE WHATEVER EXCUSES YOU WANT. IT IS STILL AN INVASION OF PRIVACY. THERE ARE PLENTY OF NOSTR APPS THAT GET ALONG JUST FINE WITHOUT TRACKING ANALYTICS. YOU CAN TOO.

UNTIL THEN YOU ARE INVADING PRIVACY BY USING TOOLS OF ONE OF THE MOST UNTRUSTWORTHY COMPANIES ON THE PLANET. I SIMPLY DO NOT TRUST YOUR NOSTR APP UNTIL THIS CHANGES.

NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE ELSE.

We understand those concerns, and as it caused a lot of inconveniences for many users, this is why we are planning to change to an open source analytics library that way we are able to be more transparent about this process.

Yeah, the Linux Nostr experience really sucks. Honestly it's to the point where it might be better to just use an Android emulator and run Amethyst.
