Even with the advantage that you can borrow at relatively low rates to buy a home, Bitcoin is still the better investment.

Opportunity Cost: 1.41 BTC
After 10 years assuming the condo doubles as it did over the last ten years you would be sitting on $1M
Using the fair price for bitcoin from power law, which most people view as bearish, you would be sitting on $1.77M of btc after 10 years if you had bought bitcoin instead.
This is not taking into account property taxes, maintenance, insurance, etc.
Moral of the story is there is no second best
