Good morning nostr friends, its coffee time, and also time to think about the day ahead. I'll be doing a turnover at the cabin later this morning, because we have another booking this Thursday. Its unusual for us to have weekday guests, but i'll take it. Beyond that, it should just be the usual homestead chores today. I went ahead and ordered a Seedsigner yesterday, so i'm excited to start playing with that. I've been wanting to rent this house out for a while now. It'd be cool to do the bitcoin only route. Maybe for the winter
I had signed up sometime last year, but then i waited for confirmation and never heard back. I think it was their beta launch, so didnt get much traction. But recently i got an email from them and it sounds like they are up and running now, so i might revisit them. I wish one of the nostr devs would set up something for bnbstrs here on nostr. From what i remember, the fees on airbtc were kinda steep. But i havent checked recently. Btw, good morning.😊

Seedsigner? Are you trying out different cold storage?
Yes, i've decided to spread out my btc into a different kind of device. I still love my coldcard, but i also like the idea of having a stateless signer. With seedsigner you dont have to worry about protecting/securing the device itself since it doesnt store your seeds. If someone stole it, there's nothing on it. Plus it can generate multiple seeds on the same device. I'll be playing with the seed QR method of signing with it. We will see.
