THESE CHINESE IMPORTS ARE GETTING OUT OF HAND

Did you ever think that biometrics was a good idea ? 🤣

Sometimes

This is actually misleading. None of those actions even require a warrant according to my understanding from a source I ran across a while back. Just probable cause.

If the device requires a PIN, then a warrant is absolutely required.

To circumvent this, Graphene and I believe Android more broadly, have a feature to quickly lock your device, such that a PIN must be entered to unlock.

The venerable passphrase/PIN/pattern aka something you know, must not be destroyed. There seems to be an active campaign to eliminate the something you know bit, especially if it's only you that know it.
