Nostr and Lightning make it incredibly easy to support open source developers. Follow them and send them zaps. No need for formalities.

One of my favorite things to stumble upon are new GitHub posts from lesser-known devs and zap them a large amount.

I like it, this could really help by providing a way for us to see what is being developed, get involved with ideas and reporting issues, and also supporting the devs and idea generators with zaps.

I haven't done programming or dev work since the early 00's, so the deep magick is a bit hard to follow, but I can see a lot of potential that I want to encourage.

I think we need to build some momentum with it by using it for nostr projects. There are some nostr projects accepting PRs and issues through it but contributors arn't using it.

Marks 21k zap made my morning. Thanks. Its amazing what encouragment a zap can be. It uplifted my whole being in a way that a tit for tat financial gain could never do.
