I don't think that's a fair example. All of those companies have private data-- like your email.
Nostr competes with Twitter, which is all public data anyway (mostly). And neither platform really hides your true identity from the government. It doesn't matter if you use a pseudonym-- if you write your thoughts in a public forum for a while, it is trivial for you to be identified.
Not that there is no value to be had; of course there is.
Yes. They all have your private data. That’s the point.
What point is that? 🤨
Scientists invade forests, beds of oceans, get to know how they grow, how flora, and fauna mutate, but not the actual process. Down to the intricacies of private DNA strands. Observing a culture doesn’t affect its growth, unless catalyzed. 🧫
“Humans” can’t be trusted.
What nonsense. The irrational fear, of the end results to this ‘mistrust,’ is what fuels the seemingly endless cycle. Then again, isn’t this online back & forth the very thing Nostr is for? (How can communication be fearless, on a different platform?) That worry, creates from nothing. Pura Vida. 🤙
Tbh I still don’t know if nostr is social media or Bitcoin platform. Either way, privacy is always gonna be an issue on social media. But you have to learn to work with it.
But either way whatever it is. I feel pretty happy campy on here maybe cause #[2] ‘s my jackpot of happiness lol. He keeps everyone engaged and I like some of the more inside of his casual life stuff 💋💕
