People who don't take their ear pods out when socialising, are they also listening to something on them? Lol #asknostr

Is this generally acceptable now? Is it considered rude to ask them if they're listening to something lol? Is it just off and jewelry?

I'm getting older, and the hearing is starting to go. I leave them in, and use the talk passthrough feature as a cheap hearing aid.
