Fiat brained. Took a while for me to unlearn fiat methodology of wealth building and learn sound money wealth building. Its a lot to overcome.

Same here, I was also so deep into the fiat mindset, it was hard to break, took years to see all the bad incentives I was following, not that I am out of it yet, I still find myself slipping back into some bad habits, its a struggle, but I am not about to hand people a rope to hang me with thats for sure
Yes! Yeah right after I first got into Bitcoin I rode fiat logic straight to crypto town. After I got rugged I finally understood the importance of self custody, and all the Bitcoin puzzle pieces came together for me. I am no longer chasing the free lunch that fiat promises. I learned there is no free lunch. You can work hard to cause wealth creation and better the world or fall back on the default of wealth destruction. Fiat claims it can intrinsically create wealth, but in reality it is net destructive of wealth.
