No, I mean he always publish long notes but I don't see it in his feed.
The long notes are written by him.
This one is one example and doesn't show in his feed: nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzqcv676nqk0lycue64jsxr3fzejw8euwc0m6vjz86e30djdknhherqy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wd4hk6tcqyq7vp555e6x7hu0g7sk99vlsq6tpj9cx0wn46cz2gff5lfclvkpncfcsfl2
Why would it show up? Jumble doesn't handle long-form notes very well, the feed doesn't actively fetch long-form events unless someone reposts or references them.
Ah, I think should fetch, at least as previews. Doesn't make sense only show if someone reposts or reference.
For sure confuse people, as I was confused now and I think nostr:npub1mlu4qvm8j7gqamukz98l832ghgktyj0whqrxfx89625m3p30haqq5racjk too.
As a microblogging client, I don't think it's necessary to fetch everything. There are many other event kinds in nostr, should we really be fetching and handling all of them?
That said, since most long-form clients are no longer maintained, Jumble will soon support viewing them directly. Once that's in place, theyβll start appearing in the feed as well.
Great that you will support viewing long form events directly on Jumble.
I kind of disagree of not showing some events, I think shouldn't support it fully but should show a preview link to a client that support it.
>since most long-form clients are no longer maintained
That's the key detail right there.
