As an example: Why, after this protocol is massively popular, would I sell a book, service, or item for the show NOT on #Nostr?

Why would I want to go to some OTHER place to connect the same BTCpayserver, to the same network of people, to use the same sats? I just do twice the work and shrink my network by having it in another place. Now i might want to for other reasons, but it won’t be because I wont have the tools to do everything in my normal Nostr/Keet/Holepunch communication channels, it’ll be for privacy, to segment out what I do, etc.

I would be interested in a discussion/article that compares the possibilities, current state and outlook of keet and nostr. Do you know of any such?

No, but I think they are more likely to thrive together. They are different enough in how they work that I could see them leaning on each other for a full feature set as both foundations are improved.
