isnt giving them your lightning address giving them your username?
on Strike, your lightning address is USERNAME@strike.me
if you didnt want anyone to know your username or lightning address it would be more difficult to receive payments

Just realized I could change my username. I thought it was defaulted to my government name and I couldn’t change it. So sorry.
Something like what icloud mail does with Hide My Email...create a burner Username/LN Address that does not expose the Strike Username.
Also duckduckgo does that with Hide emails.
