Fee gets too high if not well connected. Lightning, as a rule, will never be well suited for large amounts, anything above 10 million sats.

Nah... I paid 0.15% in fees in that transfer. I can easily do much bigger amounts before fee becomes an issue.

But then I need to ask for the on-chain address (usually manually) and then wait ~1 hour to get full confirmation..
