What’s the largest amount you’ve sent over lightning? I’m blown away when paying large amounts just works. Sending $1000 to anywhere in the world in under a second with final settlement = 🤯

Fee gets too high if not well connected. Lightning, as a rule, will never be well suited for large amounts, anything above 10 million sats.

Nah... I paid 0.15% in fees in that transfer. I can easily do much bigger amounts before fee becomes an issue.

But then I need to ask for the on-chain address (usually manually) and then wait ~1 hour to get full confirmation..
