Why?

How much time do you have? For starters, you’ll never get a positive return before they break.

Sorry, I have had a leased system from SunRun on my house for over 5 years and whereas I was paying up to $400.00 a month average, now I pay only $150.00 a month and often get a credit from my utility company.

And to answer your other point, if the panels drop below a certain wattage they are rplaced at no charge.

Saw a video on rooftop solar panels recently. Way too expensive for the general public. 100k USD upfront cost for a free monthly energy bill. You never get your money's worth. Something has to break first 🚩🚩🚩

It was the Tesla version

And those are the absolute worst. If you buy them outright( no warranty). If you lease, then you’re on the hook for 20+ years. Not to mention, all the companies they purchased along the way, have no support. For example, Tesla techs have no training to fix and Enphase system. Can you tell I’ve been through this 😂

You’re giving some good hints 🤣

Crazy that they can’t even fix the product they sell you

The Silicon Valley way: Move fast and scam people!

Only in niche applications do they make sense. Pay all cash to be off grid and have an easy install. Once you start ruining your roof, you start to really go down a bad path.
