It's funny how the use case for these blockchains is turning to: you can kinda use Bitcoin here too!

Right. My point is most Bitcoiners donāt seem to have a problem with Liquid.
my point isn't about liquid or wrapped Bitcoin
my point is to call out thought leaders for calling those things bitcoin
They're just trying to ride the coat tails of Bitcoin while pretending they're the same or on equal footing. It's okay to use other tools if they meet some need better than "stock" Bitcoin. But it isn't okay to just pretend there aren't tradeoffs. Bitcoin is Bitcoin. That thing is that thing. I just want everyone to be honest.
And I'll be the first to admit that Bitcoin doesn't meet every need for every person. It isn't perfect at everything, but it does what it does well better than anything else.
