You have to authenticate your nostr npub in Cashu via signer or nsec in order for it to properly link you npub with the wallet. Right now, your Cashu is using a random npub generated from your wallet seed. Go to the top of settings and select signer extension or nsec.

If you do it right, you'll see your npub.cash vanity address under the Lightning Address section instead of that random npub

Thank you. I was trying to avoid the dangerous option but this makes sense.

Anytime you use your nsec in an app, it involves a degree of risk. That's why we have Amber and brower signing extensions. But it has been my experience that using the signing extention option in Cashu doesn't work. It has some sort of bug that produces errors and doesn't properly authenticate. But the nsec option does work, and I don't think it's any more or less risky than using it with any other app.
