Finally found a way to implement WoT filtering that I like in #noStrudel

Neat! Does it get very slow to calculate if events are in the 5th degree WoT though? Must be a huge set of people.

Calculating the WoT does take a while, so I need to find a way to either download a pre-built one or somehow have the app build it in the background without slowing the app down

I had a chance to try this out now in noStrudel - Does the WoT affect notifications? I still see random spammers like I.E nostr:npub1v7urry828l9wgy8ersruacr89g63wc5lzgc6xxgcwhralts2r4eqmz37jj in my replies

Not yet. I'm planning on rebuilding the notifications view again to make it cleaner and more obvious whats going on. then I can add a simple toggle to show "muted" events and users

love it, consider showing how many people are in each level

good idea. should also help to see if something went wrong and you have 0

I've been saying for a long time we needed a client with these sliders. Good to see it.

I always say these types of filters should be accessible from the user's feed though, not tucked in settings.

Also think "friends" should be clearer. If it's only mutuals then it's kinda echo chambery compared to just simple follows

nice!

I like that a lot

I've been using this library by nostr:npub1g53mukxnjkcmr94fhryzkqutdz2ukq4ks0gvy5af25rgmwsl4ngq43drvk https://github.com/mmalmi/nostr-social-graph

Its nice how it has an export and import format. and it looks like there is also a server that could be used to provide pre-built graphs for bootstrapping https://github.com/mmalmi/nostr-social-graph/tree/master/server
