Where can I view this map? I think I saw a bunch of Starlink satellites the other night all moving in the same direction and similar distances apart.

They’ve got coverage available on their official website

Pretty cool. I might have to head outside and verify when I see one heading my way.

GM NOstr!

Been saying it for years. This is incredibly good for Bitcoin.

A digital asset given a digital infrastructure that encompasses the entire planet.

It’s not between peers. It’s between each person and Starlink.

So are we exchanging bitcoin between peers or do we use electromagnetic signals as rails to do so?

The exchange of bitcoin is not dependent on specific transport stack and the transaction can still be reliably completed peer to peer even over non peer to peer rails. So really it depends.

But peer to peer networks are a thing. I like Starlink but it’s not peer to peer.

Yes, whats important is that different products are available in the free market to utilize Bitcoin the way the participant chooses to do so. It is what I Iove about Bitcoin and what makes its such an amazing tool for freedom🫶. To use Bitcoin you don’t have to use Starlink but it’s great that Starlink makes it possible for those without internet access to participate in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Yeah I agree the nice thing about Starlink is that it’s a non (your own) state ISP available as an alternative to state ISP.

Thanks daddy Elon!

that’s a lot of future space junk

soon it’ll be watching all of us 👀
