I’m going to skip the Bahamas, for now. I’m going straight to the USVI’s. A fist year cruiser in the Bahamas is way to cliché for me.

I need to earn some money and pay off Uncle Sam. That cunt is holding my passport hostage. Then Panama, Costa Rica, Belize, Texas, New Orleans, then Bahamas.

No. Depending on how late in the season it gets, I may head back north for one more summer and take the I-65 route. I’m not particularly looking forward to the upwind thorny path.

Yeah that passage south can be a brutally bash to windward but well worth it once you get down island.
