Half a cup each of apple cider vinegar, sugar, water, and a tablespoon of dish soap helped empty out a portion of the population of a wasp nest in the yard we couldn’t get to. Two dishes like this absolutely filled in 5 hours. The wasps have been super aggressive as it gets colder here again already. A guy on one of our tree crews got nailed 12 times the other day.

I hate wasps. I want to think they are useless, pissed off bitches but they do, in fact, serve a purpose; pollination.
Still, I don't have a problem killing these bastards every chance I get and late summer, early autumn is when these dudes become prevalent.

Spanish wasps can be persuaded to go live somewhere else. As can ants. Made peace with brambles too :) We are quite invasive as a species, I think we are finding that out ever faster and can hopefully do something to redress the balance.
There 's a fantastic graphic somewhere of the food chain in pyramid form. We are obviously at the top. Obviously, we get to draw it! And the graphic has a few blocks missing all the way down, down, down. What can possibly go wrong for the one at the top!
Omg trying this today or this weekend at my parents. These things are lurking somewhere near their pool and have gotten really aggressive. My dad and I have both been stung along with a couple of my parents tree guys!
